Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks (born April 15 1977) is an American actor best known for playing Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons of AMC's historical drama Mad Men. Her work in the series won her critical appreciation as well as an impressive six Emmy award nominations for the top supporting actress category. Over the course of her professional career, she gained recognition for her part in the comedy and drama Another Period, a crime drama called Tin Star. She is known for her performance as the voice of Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers Prey At Night Egg, American Woman and The Neon Demon. The voice of her character has been featured in animation films like Toy Story 4, Scoob!, and From Up on Poppy Hill. She began as a fashion model, and was in that field for many years before she made her television debut with Undressed. Her first big role was in the comedy drama series Beggars and Choosers following which she also received appreciation for her part in the cult hit Firefly. Esquire magazine voted her as the Sexiest Woman on Earth as well as the most attractive American woman for 2010.
